Thanks to consolidated partnerships with other associates, Domus Augustea is able to propose highly differentiated hospitality solutions according to various needs.
It collaborates, indeed, with a traditional accommodation structure, such as the "Casa per Ferie G.B. Guigas" ("G.B. Guigas Holiday Home"), which proposes a hotel-like stay in a highly familiar atmosphere.
DOMUS AUGUSTEA was founded in 2004 with the aim of responding to a new, special and strong demand for tourist accommodation emerged in Pragelato and the surrounding area in the years before the 2006 Winter Olympics, proposing a solution that didn't exist yet or that was not present on the territory: the VACATION RENTAL HOUSING. Beyond the possibility of long-term rental (on a seasonal or annual basis), the vacation rental housing offers the possibility of short-term rentals (weekly, two-weeks, monthly or three-month) with some basic services included: a formula of serviced apartments kind.
From the beginning, Domus Augustea felt the need to network with other organizations in the area, in order to respond with a well-structured and complete offer to the range of needs and requests which comes in great number also from abroad.
Among the distinguished guests: the German TV, during the 2006 Winter Olympic Games and the Swedish National Nordic ski team in several occasions.
The company currently manages four holiday apartment in Pragelato, Ruà hamlet (the administrative center), located in a single building complex with access from Via Pirola, close to the Church and the Main Market Square, just a few minutes walking from the ski slopes "Baby" and from the start of the cross-country skiing trails, and 3 minutes driving from the cableway which connects Pragelato to the Sestriere and Vialattea ski area.
The complex has been designed in accordance with the typical local architectural style and type of construction, with prestigious finishing and with great attention to functionality, environmental sustainability and energy saving.
The serviced apartments are very comfortable and perfectly furnished, equipped with private for the units on the ground floor, TV, and all the equipment needed for cooking and eating. Pets are allowed, unless they are dangerous or annoying.
